I drank a pint of terrible, terrible cider this weekend—it was flat and way too sweet and just tasted like apple juice that hadn’t changed out of its sweatpants in three weeks. NEVER AGAIN! I vowed. (Not really, I just drank it and then ordered something different.)
But it’s cider season, and so Neighborhood Notes has a timely, informative roundup of local/regional ciders and where to find them. (Is the Moonshine’s full name really “Balls the Cat’s Moonshine Kitchen”? That is an excellent bar to begin with, and now I guess I will live there.)
h/t to DaveKnowsPDX for the link.

DOES NN GIVE YOU A CUT OF THE PROFIT FOR REPOSTING WHAT BUSINESSES PAY THEM TO WRITE?
If it’s clear and yella, you got juice there fella; if it’s tangy and brown, you’re in cider town.
DOES DRUNK & WRITE THROW RANDOM WORDS TOGETHER AM BUT FOR YOU TOO READ?
IS ALL I HAS.
This is how this makes me feel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhKrCW7R9yM
Just so you know, businesses do not pay to be in Neighborhood Notes roundups. We never have charged for them and our readers have told us that’s what they like about them.
Thanks for reading NN!
