According to AdWeek.com, this Cheerios spot was the most hated ad during the Golden Globes. As Adweek’s Tim Rudd writes:
The ad shows a mom and her son having breakfast, when the boy pipes up and asks, “Did Nana ever give you Cheerios when you were a little kid?” This seemingly innocent question leads to an exchange that’s supposed to be cute, though it leaves Mom practically in tears by the end…
Which brings up the big question:

“She told me to ask. She’s sitting behind you …”
“I saw her pulling perfect Christ Airs on the 40 foot golden half pipe in Heaven. She told me to tell you, “eat more Cheerios.'”
She’s in the bowl. Cheerios are made of Nana.
WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE, SON.
