HERE’S A MYSTERY: I’m a huge fan of neither Jodorowsky movies nor Dune, and yet? Pretty sure this documentary about Jodorowsky’s failed (but infamously influential) attempt to make a Dune movie looks like it’ll be fantastic.
No word yet on when it’ll get a Portland release, but hopefully soon.

Hollywood will shamelessly remake every movie with even the slightest bit of brand recognition, yet there’s still no good Dune movie. Wtf?
But there are plenty of terrible, shameless Dune spin-off books for Hollywood to mine.
It released last May.
So what you are saying is you are a fan of bad movies like the soulless mindless content-free computer animated refried sequel crap Hollywood constantly craps out onto the market nowadays? Wait, I knew that already.
OK. That was kind of mean and unnecessary but I’m a big fan of David Lynch’s Dune and Jodorowsky’s earlier weird movies.
