20 Years of Bloc Party: Silent Alarm & Hits
If the distinctive drumbeat and power chords of Bloc Party’s “Banquet” have been seared onto your brain since 2005, then you probably already have tickets for the English rockers’ 20th anniversary celebration of their debut Silent Alarm. The set also promises other hits from throughout the band’s run, all stamped with the steady constant of frontman Kele Okereke’s personal lyrics and impressive belting techniques. Blonde Redhead will open the evening with their hypnotizing, shoegazy sounds. JANEY WONG
