FRIDAY

LIVE MUSIC

WEEED & Oh, Rose
Experimental Portland band WEEED released their eighth, ninth, and 10th albums simultaneously on August 1, announcing that these would be their final compilations. From their 2008 start with a vision to “play stoner rock,” the group has grown into an exploration of sound, often creating pounding rock songs and synthy loops alongside winding instrumental tracks with names like “Something about having your feet in the river” that make you feel just like that. They play their final show at Mississippi Studios with support from summery folk rock group Oh, Rose. SHANNON LUBETICH
(Mississippi Studios, Boise, $15-$20)
