In an intersection of milieux that is not NEARLY as uncomfortable as you think it will be, it’s time once again for Mercury/Blogtown trivia night at Club 21 (2035 NE Glisan). Show up, we’ll cobble together some teams, and you’ll quickly find that trivia provides a convenient pretext for conversation far more interesting than, “So, you hang out on the internet all day?” Mingle! Practice your pickup lines! Awkwardly introduce yourself using your Blogtown handle rather than your real name! I’m excited already. I think this business technically starts at 8, but I’m aiming to get there early to snag a big table (and pre-drink until I’m sociable), so show up whenever. You’ll know who we are.
