Here at the Mercury, we’ve waxed euphoric about Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim comics for a while—and with Edgar Wright’s cinematic adaptation approaching, our love for Scott shows no signs of diminishing. In fact, it’s probably only going to get stronger. Especially when stuff like this happens: Coming Soon has snagged a photo of the film’s first poster.
Though I could’ve done without that tagline, I think it’s pretty great. And what can I say—given the track records of O’Malley and Wright, I’m pretty inclined to give this movie the benefit of the doubt. So yeah, stoked.
