The season hasn’t even started yet, but the Portland Trail Blazers already have their first crippling injury. After being wheeled off the court last night in a preseason loss to Utah, Jeff Pendergraph underwent a MRI today and the results were not good: torn right ACL. He will likely miss the entire 2010-11 season. With Marcus Camby currently banged up, and Greg Oden and Joel Przybilla awhile away from returning, the Blazers currently have zero centers.

Chris Dudley, can you still play? What about Ha Seung-Jin? I miss that guy.

Ezra Ace Caraeff is the former Music Editor for the Mercury, and spent nearly a third of his life working at the paper. More importantly, he is the owner of Olive, the Mercury’s unofficial office dog....

  1. I had high hopes for Pendy and I’m pissed. But it’s heartening that Aldridge looked more dominant than I’ve ever seen him at center (at least in the highlights). And Cunningham went 18 and 10 at PF.

Still need that seven footer though. Damn you for being right about something, Charles Barkley.

  2. NoOoOoOoOoOoO!!

I’m pissed too, guys. Pissed at god. Pissed at Nate. Pissed at how neither team televised last night’s game. PISSED!

    Sorry Pendy. Get well soon.
