Don’t Forget About The Zine Symposium And End Up A Sucker Like Me!

Portland’s Zine Symposium is happening this weekend at Refuge in Southeast Portland at 116 SE Yamhill. This totally free event runs Saturday and Sunday, starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. the first day and 4:00 p.m. the next. In addition to showcasing freaky, DIY projects from across the country there’s workshops and events, including a “feud” plus karaoke night on Saturday at Floating World comics and a wrap party at The Alibi. It’s always weird and fun and crawling with interesting people, plus it’s where I acquired my ULTRA LIBRARY CARD.
