  1. Oh my sweet summer child, what do you know of waiting? Waiting is for the long night, when George R.R. Martin hides for years and children are born and live and die before the next book comes out. That is the time for waiting, my little lord.

  2. @2, seriously. I was watching an interview with him the other day and thinking, “damn, I hope he lives long enough to finish this series.” At his average rate, it’ll be something like 10 years before the series is finished.
