First pics of Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy on the set of Spider-Man hit the interwebs last night:

Just about everyone is taking issue with Garfield/Parker’s big long fluffy Fraggle hair (“Spider-Man needs a haircut” goes the refrain), but I am more preoccupied with how crushed I still am to see Stone as a blonde, even if it is her natural hair color (though not that particular shade, I’d wager). Don’t you agree? Or are you too distracted by the Flowbeed swoosh atop our arachno-human hero?

  1. It’s just funny that a famously blonde actress played Peter’s redheaded love interest and now a famously redheaded one is playing his blonde one.

  2. I’m excited to see Andrew Garfield as Spidey, but that hair is more Harry Potter than Peter Parker. No, no. And would it be overly dramatic to say that what they’ve done to Emma Stone is devastating? DEVASTATING! There, I said it.

  3. I really really like Andrew Garfield. He was great in Never Let Me Go. And Social Network. And Emma Stone is so pretty and funny, even when she is blonde. (House Bunny? Awesome? Anyone else?)
