Hey stoners, have you heard the most important news of 2019? (Big claim, but definitely true.) We're baking up a trippy new film festival! The creators of HUMP! and Savage Love have created a new film festival called SPLIFF, and tickets go on sale TODAY! Just as HUMP!’s mission is to normalize sex, SPLIFF’s mission will be to normalize weed culture. Expect trippy films, comedic shorts, quickie documentaries, parodies of anti-pot educational films (think Reefer Madness), total mind fucks, and maybe even some pot-influenced actual fucks. (21+ only, thanks!)
Just like HUMP!, tickets will indubitably sell out faster than weed gummies banned by the Liquor and Cannabis Board (don't worry, the weed gummy purists changed their minds). So you should grab SPLIFF tickets RIGHT NOW.
What can you expect at SPLIFF? Oh, here, let me show you:

Tickets for SPLIFF went on sale today, January 9, at 10 am. The fest will premiere this April and May in Denver, Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco with more tour stops to be announced soon.
But, most urgently, I'm sure you're wondering how you can make a film for SPLIFF and if there's still time to enter. YES, THERE'S STILL TIME TO MAKE A FILM FOR SPLIFF.
Here's the T:
Artists, filmmakers, and other creators are invited to make and submit short films—4:20 maximum length—for the first annual SPLIFF. We’re seeking films that explore the meaning, pleasures, and culture of recreational marijuana use. There is no charge to enter a film in SPLIFF. Filmmakers retain all rights to their films. THERE ARE CASH PRIZES! For the first annual SPLIFF Film Fest, we are giving away $10,000 in cash prizes to the best films. All winners are decided by secret audience ballot. Films may qualify in more than one prize category. This year’s categories and prize packages are: Trippiest: $2,000
Funniest: $2,000
Stupidiest: $2,000
BEST IN SHOW: $5,000All performers must be 21 years of age. Submissions for SPLIFF are due March 1st at 3 pm. More info on how to submit HERE.
So show us what you’ve got. We’d love for you to be a part of the first annual SPLIFF Film Fest!
