The past few weeks have been a little more magical around the old inbox than usual, thanks to our first-ever glamorous pet photo contest! We asked you to send in snaps of your beautiful, glamorous pets, and boy did you ever. It was really, really delightful yet really, really difficult to sort through the bounty of adorable submissions, but when we found Gary, we knew:

His mom, Megan, added that Gary is "deaf, adorable, and hilarious," and you can follow him on Instagram at @garythetat (apparently someone got to the @garythecat handle first), which I HIGHLY recommend. It is now my favorite place on the internet, and it includes video montages of Gary biting combs, and guest appearances from his life partner and fellow Persian, Babs.
