Portland’s unrehearsed storytelling social returns next Wednesday, August 13th, with folks such as Adam Arnold and, hell, ME, telling 6-minute yarns on the theme of “true colors.”

June’s “summer love” edition was well worth the trip up to Alberta, and this time, it’s being held at Urban Grind on NE 20th and Oregon. Right around the corner from the Mercury‘s offices.

I plan to confess three shameful, sordid secrets from my past. So those with an interest in blackmail may wish to show up with their video cameras and a list of simple demands.

Matt Davis was news editor of the Mercury from 2009 to May 2010.

  1. Sir:

Am planning on attending unless something untoward happens such as the alledged Rapture or the re-run of an episode of the Simpsons I have not previously viewed.

I’ll be one with the White Orchard behind my left ear.

    I remain your humble servant,

    Jacomus

  2. It’s going to be great! Ralph Huntley from OPB’s Live Wire is playing unrehearsed ditties between stories and Urban Grind NE will have beer and wine too.
