There's no shortage of things you can do to celebrate 4/20, like, say, visiting numerous dispensaries and buying copious amounts of deeply discounted cannabis and cannabis products, and then, you know, consuming them, perhaps in a five-foot Graffix bong or three-foot joint. Hey, so long as you consume responsibly and don't drive afterwards, of course. But there are things happening on 4/20 that are a bit more, shall we say refined, and despite yourself, you may just learn something while having a good time.

One such event is the Two Flowers CBD Beer Fest, put on by the good folks at Coalition Brewing, who know something about CBD beers, having produced Oregon's first CBD-infused beer. The festival is a joint collaboration between Coalition Brewing and Growlerwerks, and features several of Coalition's CBD infused beers on tap, along with their latest beer, a new release "Ensemble." This offering was brewed along with True Terpenes, featuring a taste profile that "showcases OG Kush terpenes in a tasty NW Pale Ale."

The event will also feature a Terpene Sensory Station by True Terpenes, the Jamaica House food truck, games, giveaways, a panel discussion, and a special toast at 4:20 pm. It runs from 3 to 10 pm at the Coalition Brewing HQ at 2705 SE Ankeny.

Even though it's 4/20, blazing one on site is still prohibited, so you will need to wait 'til you get home, or take a walk around the block. (Yeah, that's rightโ€”I said it.)
