Remember the food cart owner who was arrested earlier this year for repeatedly exposing his penis to a female Uber Eats driver? In case you've (hopefully) forgotten, here's a refresher: James Carter, the owner of Mr. Benny Smokehouse Brunch on NE 42nd Ave, was arrested in January after a woman stopped by his cart to pick up an order and encountered his erect penis sticking out of his pants "plain as day."

According to the arrest affidavit, "the incident was so upsetting to her that she threw up."

It appears justice has been served.

On June 27, a jury indicted Carter on one count of indecent exposure. A Multnomah County judge sentenced Carter to one day in jail and year of probation. He'll also have to participate in mental heath treatment. In a court document, Carter's attorney Ryan Scott notes Carter has a history of trauma that may have instigated this incident.

"In sum, this is a regrettable incident that occurred while Mr. Carter was going through a period of significant grief and personal turmoil," Scott writes.

Mr. Benny Smokehouse has been closed since Carter's arrest.
