Last Thursday, the crew at Jason Kallingal’s brand-new Life of Pie location started adding fuel to its wood-fired pizza oven on NW 23rd.

If you’ve ever been to Life of Pie’s flagship pizza shop over on N Williams, you likely know that it has one this city’s best happy hour deals: $5 margherita pies during a 7-hour marathon happy hour, from 11 am to 6 pm.

Well, Kallengal’s imported that same exact deal to the new location, as well as a roster of signature pies, like the parlor’s popular mushroom and truffle oil pizza, and its sausage pie with Mama Lil’s peppers.

This new Life of Pie will also offer starters (meatballs, oven-roasted cauliflower au gratin), salads (Caesars, kale and arugula), spaghetti (which also comes in a gluten-free version), and $11 build-your own pies, as well as cider, beer, and wine.

The new space seats about 80 and will keep daily hours of 11 am to 10 pm.

And whatever you do, don’t sleep on that happy hour margherita.
