More awesome literary events coming at you this weekend, starting tonight at the Crow Arts space (850 NE 81st Ave. #114) marking the release of the latest issue of Conjunctions, a long running journal that regularly features awesome writers. Reading tonight will be contributers Tim Horvath and Gabriel Blackwell, along with Matthew Simmons. The newest issue, Terra Incognita: The Voyage Issue, contains stories about journeys into the unknown, and features Jonathan Carroll and Peter Straub.

Also tonight at 7, the Publication Studio (717 SW Ankeny) will be launching Justin Bland's Signs and Symbols. "Containing nine color photographs by young Taiwanese photographer Chuen-Huei Yang, Signs and Symbols examines the way that ordinary objects communicate with us." Refreshments by Ninkasi.

Finally, tomorrow night at Work/Sound (820 SE Alder), the sixth installment of the Bad Blood reading series will take place at 7:00pm. Saturday's reading features Graham Foust from Oakland, John Niekrasz, and Portland's own Emily Kendal Frey, author of The Grief Performance. Bad Blood readings routinely kick ass.

Happy weekend readings, Portland!
