Good news, laugh lovers!... The Undisputable Geniuses of Comedy are BACK! The biggest night of Portland comedy is returning to Revolution Hall on Friday, February 2, and you're not gonna wanna miss it!

That's right,  the Portland Mercury’s Undisputable Geniuses of Comedy returns for 2024, and features Portland’s funniest people (and hilarious up-and-comers) all on one stage.

Stand-up comedians, sketch comedy, and crazy stuff that defies explanation... and all of it laugh-out-loud funny—which is exactly what you need right now, right? (Get those tickets here!)

So what do you say? Let's meet this year's lineup of the Mercury's Undisputable Geniuses of Comedy!

YOUR HOST... ADAM PASI!

A former Portland's Funniest Person winner, Adam has also been seen on Portlandia, and has appeared at the Bridgetown and Big Sky comedy festivals. He's also highly regarded as one of Portland's best comedy hype men, and (allegedly) loves his mother.

SUPER SPECIAL GUEST... KYLE KINANE!

Kyle Kinane is an internationally touring comedian who has appeared on (take a deep breath) @midnightwith Chris Hardwick, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, Workaholics, This Is Not Happening, Not Safe with Nikki Glaser, and Comedy Bang! Bang! You've also heard him announcing stuff on Comedy Central, generating huge laughs with his "No Accounting for Taste" and " Boogie Monster" podcasts, or perhaps on any of his many comedy albums. And according to Wikipedia, "Kinane's first television appearance was on The Nanny playing 'Young Roger Clinton' [citation needed]."

NEERAJ SRINIVASAN

Neeraj is not only a longstanding local comedy powerhouse, and a finalist in Portland's Funniest Person competition, but he's also the co-host of the wildly popular Dough comedy show, the Dishoom Dishoom show where he and Milan Patel riff on Bollywood movies, and has been seen in Kickstand's Comedy in the Park, the Upper Left Comedy Festival, Pacific Crest Comedy Fest, Treefort, and more!

AMANDA ARNOLD

Longtime lovers of Portland comedy will recognize the razor sharp wit of Amanda, who was named one of the “Top 5 Funniest Comics” in Portland, produced the Undertow Comedy Festival, was the two-time winner of the PDX Dirty Dozen Roast Battle, and has opened for both Dave Attell and Jeff Ross. She's also festival favorite, and has appeared at All Jane festival, Idaho Laugh Fest, Bridgetown, and Big Sky fest. If you don't know her already, prepare yourself to fall in love!

LANCE EDWARD

Co-host of the heeee-larious Dough comedy night at Mississippi Pizza, Lance Edward is not only a former Genius of Comedy, and a Willamette Week "Funniest Five" recipient, his witty, observational humor is wild, infectious, and could possibly land you in the aisle from laughing too hard. (Not responsible for any mirth-induced injuries.)

JOE JOHN SANCHEZ III

The intensely lovable Joe John Sanchez III is a queer, Portland-based comedian whose style can best be described as manic, neurotic, and unfortunately adorable. They also happen to be the producer of Fluid Comedy and Defiant Joy, two local comedy showcases committed to uplifting LGBTQIA+ talent, and have performed across the country at East Austin Comedy Club, the LGBTLOL Queer Comedy Fest, and were selected for Best of Fest at the 2023 Burbank Comedy Festival. Get ready to become a JJS3 superfan!

DIANNA POTTER

Starting her comedy career shortly after her 60th birthday, Dianna is a two-time finalist of Portland’s Funniest Person. She rightly won first place in the 2021 Western Oregon Comedy competition, hosts the Growler Guys monthly comedy showcase, and is another Geniuses of Comedy alum. Oh, and she recently retired from Dairy Queen (where she will certainly be missed).

DAVID TVEITE

Originally a Minnesota native, David has thankfully brought his sly, absurdist, and depreciating comedic style to Portland, where besides performing all over town, has been seen on NBC's Last Comic Standing as well as the Bridgetown Comedy Fest, Atlanta’s Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, and Bumbershoot in Seattle. You're gonna be hearing a lot more about him—hopefully in a non-criminal way—so don't miss this genius!

JULIA CORRAL

Julia introduces herself as "a short, loud, and proud Latina" with "a dog, two cats, and a husband" who all allegedly bug her. Her other claims to fame include being a host of the wildly popular Kickstand’s Comedy in the Park, Helium’s Cooch Street, Sorry Not Sorry (at Leikam Brewing) and Spacebunz (at the SpaceRoom Lounge). Julia was also voted one of the Willamette Week's Funniest 5 in 2023, and 5th grade class president in 1992. Move over Joe Biden and make room for Julia Corral!

AND SKETCH COMEDY FROM "THE SISTERS OF MERCY"!

Get ready for a juggernaut of holy hilarity with the Sisters of Mercy, a sketch comedy quartet featuring Shelley McLendon, Laura Sams, Erin Jean O'Regan, and Lori Ferraro, whose smart, sassy work is known for being top-notch. They've appeared at the Siren Theater, Portland Center Stage, as well as the Portland Sketch Festival, so if you're looking for a truly divine comedy experience, these are the sisters you've been praying for!

Folks, this show is gonna be a certified BANGER. Don't miss this opportunity to catch the best comedy Portland has to offer... and all on one stage in one night! That's the Undisputable Geniuses of Comedy, Friday, February 2, 2024 at Revolution Hall... get those tickets now, babies, because IT WILL SELL OUT!
