The Malt Ball is back!

Starting in 2012, the Portland Mercury has teamed up with the Oregon Brewers Guild to put on an annual music and beer festival that highlights the creativity and superiority of both the craft brewing and music scenes of our city. The result was the Malt Ball, and it's become a can't-miss event on Portland's beer and music calendars. It's a kickass concert with rare beer tastings. It's a beer festival with great live music. It's a one-of-a-kind event, and it's happening at the Wonder Ballroom on Saturday, February 28—just a few short weeks away.

This year's Malt Ball boasts the best and brightest of Portland bands, with 12 specially hand-picked acts to play the festival's two sessions (afternoon and evening). PLUS we've got lots of great Oregon brewers on hand to offer up specially brewed Malt Ball beers and other rare choices. Take a look at this year's lineup!
