Turns out that racist, homophobic pledge that Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum signed probably isn't going to gain any more support from presidential candidates: Mitt Romney says the pledge is "inappropriate," Herman Cain says his views "encompass" the pledge and therefore he doesn't need to sign the pledge (?!?), Pawlenty prefers to "use [his] own words," and Gary Johnson and Jon Huntsman apparently refuse to sign it because they don't want Republicans to remember they exist.

And then there were two:

Candidates Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich have not yet made a decision about whether to sign it. Gingrich said he won't do so with its current language. His campaign is working on an amended version of the vow that they will present to the Family Leader.

Well. I guess we know who the real conservatives are!
