NW Black Comedy Festival
Comedy festival organizers Courtenay and Tyrone Collins (you may know Tyrone better under his stage name, the Real Hyjinx) started the NW Black Comedy Festival from a place of low-tech love—calling people on the phone and getting the first three years’ seats filled via press and word-of-mouth. This year, the 2020 NW Black Comedy Festival has a website and a new location, moving downtown into Harvey’s Comedy Club where the Real Hyjinx regularly hosts open mics.
