This weekend, Dayton's Vista Hills Winery is hosting its Uncommon Wine Festival. Now in its ninth year, it’ll be a chance to sample some great wines from Oregon’s small producers—or micro producers, as the likes of Joyful Noise make wine from just a ton of grapes.

Other winemakers in attendance will include a Cheerful Note, Leah Jørgensen, Le Doubblé Troubblé, Fossil & Fawn, Maloof Wine, and Esther Glen. As well as Pinot Noir, there will be Gamay, Cabernet Franc, and Gewürztraminer on show. It’s all small-batch stuff that isn’t always easy to find around town. Vista Hills will also be offering up their own micro-production wines, while Phat Cart PDX will be on hand to serve up their famous bentos.
