Farewell, Ash Street Saloon!
Sadly, itโ€™s the last call for theย Ash Street Saloon.ย For its final week of shows, the downtown venue is celebrating a different genre every nightโ€”indie rock, hip-hop, punk rock, rock โ€™nโ€™ roll, and metalโ€”with lineups featuring longtime regulars likeย Mic Crenshawย andย Sustainer. Itโ€™ll be a two-birds, one-stone situation: Say goodbye to a piece of Portland music history while ringing in the New Year with five nights of killer shows. Tonight: King Ghidora, J. Graves, Another Neighbor Disappeared, The Hoons, The Bible Belts, Pink Tornado, and Aux.78 CIARA DOLAN

Revolution Comedy presents: Stand Up for Portland’s Resistance
The final Revolution Comedy of the year benefits one of the most active community organizations of 2017. Portlandโ€™s Resistance sprang up late last year, as local activists struggled to make sense of Trump losing the popular vote, but winning the presidency. The groupโ€™s been a thorn in the side of local politicos and business tycoons ever sinceโ€”most recently shutting down downtownโ€™s Columbia Sportswear store while advocating for the homeless. Even if you care nothing about that, tonightโ€™s lineup is killer. DIRK VANDERHART

Aminรฉ: Glitterpop
Right after the Roseland reemerges from its Christmas break, Aminรฉ (Portlandโ€™s most viral rapper, whose breakthrough performance โ€œCarolineโ€ weโ€™ve been blasting the last two summers), is playing two nights of โ€œGlitterpopโ€ shows. The flyer promises special guests and reads โ€œglitter required,โ€ so make sure youโ€™re mentally prepared for that fantastic mess. The bad news is both nights are sold out, but the good news is that Aminรฉ is so famous now that it looks like youโ€™ll be able to score some on StubHub. JENNI MOORE
8 pm, Roseland, $25 Good Luck on the Resale Sites!
