Monday May 9, NPR Music and opbmusic will bring the Tiny Desk experience to Portland’s Doug Fir Lounge with what’s billed as “an interactive storytelling event.” The night will center on music’s ability to be both intensely personal while also an incredibly relatable, unifying force. There’ll also be a live performance from singer/violinist Gaelynn Lea, the winner of NPR Musicโs 2016 Tiny Desk Contest. The event is *FREE* if you RSVP here, so get your tickets (limit of two per person) before they’re gobbled up.
