Trump's Department of Justice, led by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, is again threatening sanctuary cities for not being sufficiently cruel to immigrants. Mayor Ted Wheeler spoke on that yesterday:

Well, this is terrifying and sad: An 8-year-old boy in Pilot Rock, Oregon, died because of a flesh-eating bacteria.
In the O: "The mother of an 8-year-old student with autism has filed a $992,000 lawsuit against the David Douglas School District, claiming an instructional aide assaulted the boy while he was strapped into his seat on a school bus last year."
A former Bank of Oswego executive was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
