Kelly Clark, attorney representing DOMC (Defense of Marriage Coalition) in their legal battle against same-sex marriage
Clark’s first marriage ended when he took up with another woman, who eventually left him. But not ready for that relationship to end, Clark stalked her, ultimately breaking into her home in the middle of the night, cutting her phone lines, locking the door, and engaged in what the court called “sexual contact without consent.” He pled guilty to criminal trespass and third-degree sexual assault. Subsequently, he was temporarily disbarred.
Clark is currently in his second marriage.

Dennis Tuuri, Pastor of the Reformation Covenant Church
As a leader of the Oregon Family Council, Tuuri fought hard for traditional family values by funding $206,000 to the successful fight against Measure 30–a ballot measure which would have provided drastically needed money for public education and to maintain health care access to 50,000 impoverished residents by taxing corporations and wealthy individuals. As a pastor and member of the DOMC, he has commanded his flock to vote yes on 36. He has also given recent sermons with titles such as, “How Can I Make My Wife Submissive?” and “How Can I Make My Husband Love Me?”
Tim Nashif, Director of DOMC, Multnomah County chair of the Republican Party
In addition to Nashif’s political positions, he is notably also CEO for Gateway Communications, a printing company. Gateway has funneled a lot of money from Measure 36. Of the $685,000 raised to push the measure, nearly $130,000 has gone directly to Nashif’s company for printing services, mail handling, and surveys.
Nashif is also a co-founder of Oregon Family Council; another organization that’s raising funds for Measure 36. Of $120,996 raised by OFC, $96,571 also went to Gateway Communications.
