Let's kick off with (surprise!) IMPEACHMENT NEWS: Yesterday, in their second day of opening statements, Democrats made an extremely strong case for how Trump abused his power in his scheme to force Ukraine to announce a sham investigation of his political rival in an attempt to manipulate the 2020 election. Even though Trump's guilt is comically apparent, the GOP remains unmoved with various Republicans ignoring testimony to read books, doodle, and in one case label an American hero as a traitor. Today marks the final hours of the House managers' opening statements; Trump's lawyers kick off their disinformation parade on Saturday.

One of the juiciest jabs taken at the impeachment hearing came from Democrat Jerry Nadler who played a 1999 clip of Trump toady Lindsey Graham during the Clinton impeachment defining "high crimes." "Doesn’t even have to be a crime," Graham said at the time. "It’s just when you’re using your office and you’re acting in a way that hurts people — you’ve committed a high crime." SICK NADLER BURN.
