Just adorable from head-to-toe. I love catching people in these jackets. Maybe on my 10-year anniversary I’ll buy one for myself. Marissa Sullivan

Real talk: January is a tough month for me. Portland’s Pretty is my love letter to this town, which I fell head-over-heels in love with after moving here eight years ago. The people, the bars, the events, the shows... I love it all! But every winter I hate it, and I forget why I moved here in the first place. I get mad at it, and become anti-social and unfun. Okay, not really. I’m always a good time—but I just hate the fucking cold, alright?! That said, last week I was reminded of just how great this place is, because Built to Spill played to a sold out crowd at Mississippi Studios (the first of two nights), and absolutely killed it. They started with the hits and ended with the bangers. Plus, I got to be there with some of my best friends in the city. It was just the Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul I needed to cure me of the winter blues. Taking photos at a show like this can be hit or miss. I mean, BTS fans are, well, aging... present company included, and let’s be real: They were never a fashionable bunch to begin with. But this show delivered a lot of cuties. Who knows? Maybe the sight of these sweethearts will cure your winter blues as well. Wishful thinking, I know... but here’s hoping. XO, PP

I liked the trousers on these two—the camel ones caught my eye from upstairs. Marissa Sullivan

Hey, tall people have a hard time finding clothes, so respect to my bud for making normcore look… well, normal, even in his size.    Marissa Sullivan
