There's backstory, here, if you want it, having to do with Star Wars* director J.J. Abrams sending out not-so-cryptic pictures from the set and Batman Versus Superman** director Zack Snyder posting weird images that are inexplicably Star Wars-related***, but all of that's pretty... well, good for you, if you care, I guess? All I care about is that this morning, Abrams' production company posted the video below—which I guess is Batman related, but mostly is a video that should be called Hey, Look What an Amazing Job We Did Building the Motherfucking Millennium Falcon.

Abrams & Co. are hitting the practical effects angle of the new Star Wars hard—and playing up the real-world tangibility of the sets and props is an easy way to distinguish these new films from the prequels, for sure, particularly since it's not exactly how most movies are made these days. But well played, Abrams: Not only are you clearly King of the Nerds, but you also got me to post your viral marketing video, and you also got me to be excited about it, because Millennium Falcon. And you're also directing Star Wars. So I guess you win. I guess you win everything.

*Technically Star Wars: Episode VII—We Haven't Told Anybody The Rest of the Title Yet, But Probably Something Along the Lines of "Whoops, Inviting Back All of These Old People for Nostalgia's Sake Was a Terrible, Terrible Mistake"

**Technically Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Feat. Aquaman), which no one will ever call it, and rightfully so

***Sensing, perhaps, that people give a shit about Star Wars and don't appear to give nearly as many shits about Batman Versus Superman, maybe Snyder's inclusion of stormtroopers and whatnot is just canny marketing, as, let's be honest, all of this is
