In the wee hours of the morning, this adorable Jack Russell mutt trotted aboard TriMet’s 12 bus and proceeded to catch a free ride to Portland. According to the Oregonian, a passenger alerted her quiet presence to the driver around 5:30 am.
The collarless, six-year-old pup is now at the Town and Country Animal Hospital waiting for her owner to retrieve her—if she has one. Is this city slicker/hardened fare-avoiding criminal yours? Give animal control a call (503-846-7041). BUT ONLY IF IT’S YOURS. Because, come on.
UDPATE: TriMet says the pup has been reunited with its owner. Joy!
