Last week at their sold-out show at Mississippi Studios AgesandAges had a little surprise in store for the crowd. No, not the confetti shower (although that was nice, it felt like Rip Taylor was in the balcony). Instead the band premiered the Alicia Rose-directed video for "Navy Parade."
The song is an interesting choice for a single—on an album overloading with hook-heavy moments, "Navy Parade" is rather subdued—but the video works wonders for the track, showing frontman Tim Perry confessing to every single soul he passes in his travels. The clip finally takes Perry, and the rest of the band, to Cathedral Park for a big group singalong in front of the Willamette. Awww, how sweet.
End Hits: We'd prefer a gravy parade.
