What, dear reader, was the greatest week of your life?
Think back on that moment… and then THROW IT IN THE TRASH, because the Portland Mercuryโs Portland Wing Week is about to make every other week youโve ever experienced look like GARBAGE.
Thatโs right: Starting RIGHT NOW, Monday October 4 to Sunday October 10, the Portland Mercuryโs Portland Wing Week returnsโwith 24 plates of custom-made chicken wings available at some of Portlandโs favorite bars and restaurants! Even better? Each order of wings will cost you a mere $6! Yes, it will be amazingโbecause the Mercury and our pals at Jim Beam (also our generous sponsor), wouldnโt have it any other way!
Read on for a sampling of this yearโs wingsโand once you stop drooling, keep a few things in mind:
TIP, AND TIP WELL! Wing Weekโs a ton of funโand making it happen takes a ton of work! Make sure everyone behind Wing Weekโeveryone working on the floor, in the kitchen, and behind the barโknows how much you appreciate them. Wing Week couldnโt happen without โem!
WINGS… AND MORE! As subtly implied by the name โPortland Wing Week,โ wings ARE the focus of Wing Week. BUT! Each Wing Week location also has an amazing array of sides and drinks (perhaps even a Jim Beam cocktail?) that are a perfect match for their wings! Donโt miss out!
HAVE FUN! This is Portlandโs biggest Wing Week everโand itโs almost guaranteed that despite everyoneโs best efforts, thereโll be lines, sell-outs, and more. So if one location is too crowded? Just come back another day, and in the meantime, hit another Wing Week location!
