I have approximately 47 tote bags. At some point I’m going to have to start to fret about the environmental impact of my tote bag habit, but for now I can still enjoy them (unlike sparkling water, dammit), so:
Portland, OR (April 15, 2010) — In honor of Earth Day, Powell’s is conducting a promotion, at its store locations and online at Powells.com, featuring used books.
From April 20 through Earth Day, April 22, customers will receive a free Powell’s reusable tote bag with the purchase of three used books. Customers can sustain the environment and their wallets by reading used books.

I sustained my stomach yesterday by eating three tacos. And then for dinner I dove into the various half-eaten bags of chips I had around. Then I started reading a book I bought from powell’s, but I totally fell asleep.
