Gilbert's political aspirations aren't the only wonderful thing to come out of Little House on the Prairie. Alison Armgrin, who played child of the corn Nellie Oleson, published a memoir in 2010, Confessions of a Prairie Bitch: How I Survived Nellie Oleson and Learned to Love Being Hated, about playing Nellie, who was arguably television's most hated preteen prior to Game of Thrones' Prince Joffrey. She and Gilbert were best friends offscreen. Here's hoping they team up for some campaign trail events to rustle up the children-of-the-'90s-who-wore-bonnets-for-fun vote!
