STARTING THIS FRIDAY, the Northwest Film Center presents Castles in the Sky: Miyazaki, Takahata, and the Masters of Studio Ghibli, a series that showcases brand-new 35mm prints of 13 films from Studio Ghibli. The Japanese studio responsible for some of the world's most acclaimed animation, Studio Ghibli's films work best on the big screen—particularly the ones directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Comics creator Natalie Nourigat has some opinions on which Ghibli films you shouldn't miss.
