The Aladdin Theater, where Tig Notaro was scheduled to perform tonight, has announced via their website that her show has been postponed. Here’s their announcement:
Tig is recovering from a recent hospitalization and has to postpone tonight’s show. She will be ok. Please stay tuned for the rescheduled date, which we’ll know by the end of the day. Tickets will be valid for the new date. Thank you.
This is not surprising news, giving the intense couple of days Notaro has had: On Thursday, she made headlines after her performance in New York City, and on Sunday, she had to cancel two shows after being hospitalized for internal bleeding from a ruptured cyst, which we wrote about in this week’s arts section.
As with Notaro’s previous cancelations, anyone with a ticket to tonight’s show will still be able to use it for the postponed date, which will hopefully be announced by the end of the day.
