GOOD MORNING, BLOGTOWN!I don’t wanna fall in love. Love cuts just like a knife. You make the knife feel good. LET’S GO TO PRESS.

Last night President Obama delivered his State of the Union address to the largest crowd of hostile Republicans in presidential history. This didn’t seem to bother the president who issued a broad agenda of ideas he knew the GOP would hate—AND HATE THEM THEY DID.

Here is Obama’s sickest burn of the night. (Boehner to his GOP brethren: “Pass the salve, please.”)

But Republicans aren’t the only crybabies crying after the SOTU… there’s also the boo-hoo babies of RUSSIA.

And for those who despise politics and reading, here’s the President’s State of the Union Address… in emoji.

Vice President Joe Biden tells interviewers: “I think I could make a good president.” Mmmmm… no, thank you!

A Palestinian man stabs the driver and many passengers on a city bus in Tel Aviv.

In other dumb football news, the NFL reports that 11 of the 12 footballs used by the New England Patriots in their AFC win over the Indianapolis Colts were under-inflated by 2 lbs. each. That seems like a really weird way to cheat, but… you know… FOOTBALL!

Bravo network reality star Greg Plitt died Saturday… after being hit by a train he was trying to outrun, while testing the effectiveness of an energy drink. 🙁

Now here’s what’s going on in your neck of the woods: Mostly sunny today, clouds tomorrow, and showers return for Friday.

And finally, good morning, THUG LIFE DOG.

  1. Ed Snowden didn’t publicly disclose the documents he downloaded. He gave them to a responsible journalist to determine what was fair. The same ought to be done in this case. The professor in possession of the documents ought to provide them to the Editor of the Merc.
