—If you’ve got yourself a healthy bike budget and a mind for something stylish, consider Circa Cycles‘ handsome new collaboration with Moore Custom Goods apparel designer Andrea Moore, the first in a new Circa Collaboration Series:

Starting at $1,900, it’s “a gorgeous, single-speed urban bike based on a deep indigo color palette that pops with gold accents and a denim saddle by Brooks.” Customers will have theirs custom fitted, and have the option of messing around with things like added gears and dropped bars. Needless to say indigo, as per indigo-dyed denim, never, ever gets old.
—Wookie Fields-designed sportswear company Jaefields typically caters to menswear customers, but they recently released a lookbook modeled by a woman. Says Mia Robinson, who styled the editorial, “I can’t help but feel that this shoot speaks volumes. I wanted to represent black women in streetwear, which is mostly a white and or male dominated sub genre.”

—If you go to just one local apparel-related festivity this week, it should be the First Friday spring fashion presentation being held at the 811 E Burnside complex featuring new (and non-bridal) work from the block’s all-stars, including Kate Towers and 6/7. Neighboring shops will be getting into it to by staying up and open late, and Seven Sisters will also be hosting a release party for the spring/summer ’15 line of jewelry from Beach Bones, designed by Nicolette Peterson. Carve out some time between 6-9 pm this Friday, May 1 to take it all in.
