That’s where I’m at with all these Cali plated cars and trucks always trying to cut me off in traffic. Doesn’t matter if it’s bumper to bumper or wide open. They go for it, leaving inches between their bruised up fenders and ours. The only signal they give is a middle finger if you honk your horn at them. Sure, people with cars still registered in other states do it but not anywhere near the frequency. It won’t be tolerated anymore. If it happens to me one more time I’m going to go on a keying rampage. If you have Cali plates you might want to get off your keyster and register it here or get out of Oregon while your clear coat is still unscathed…besides all the fender bender marks you caused of course.

  1. How can they cut you off if it’s “wide open”? I can picture a car getting well in front of you, which is okay until you see their mocking Cali plates. Or maybe they really are out to get you since you sound like such an impotent raging prick.

  2. i drove every day in chicago for decades. please believe me, drivers in portland, no matter their license plates, are saints compared to their chicago counterparts.

  3. I’m on the road all too often, and I call BULLSHIT on this writer.
I would suggest the problem driver is the writer, especially with that ignorant attitude.

  4. So what I like to do is, all the Cali newbers, I just assume they are running from some awful situation or the guilt of something terrible that they did. Then I make up fairly realistic scenarios of their situations and give my ideas probable odds on actual truth. I’m batting around .525 I’d guess. But it’s just a game, so whatever!

  5. Last week I saw a Prius with California plates and a “Keep Portland Weird” bumper sticker, thus confirming everything I already knew to be true.

  6. People who say “Cali” sometimes also say “hella”, which is a term originating in Northern California. Point being anyone who says “Cali” or “hella” over the age of 15 should be shot.
