Has anyone else noticed a “movement” to label people who find vocal fry annoying as bigots? It’s weird… Radiolab and Freakanomics both had segments on vocal fry and they both sorta made it into a “if you don’t like it, you’re a bigot of some kind” issue.
I’m one who finds vocal fry really annoying and distracting… can I not have that opinion? It seems like a super PC thing because the majority of people who do it happen to be women and because of such, you’re a bigot if you don’t like it… and how dare you even notice it.
Whatever, have vocal fry, don’t have vocal fry… whatever you were born with is just fine by me. But, don’t imply (passive aggression) that I’m a bigot because I finding it FUCKING ANNOYING.
[Editor’s Note: If you’re unfamiliar with the term, listen to some “vocal fry” here.]

You can call me a bigot, but you’ll still sound like a fucking moron while doing so.
Sounds like there are many women out there who find it pretty annoying too.
As well they should.
Creaky talk is boner-wilting.
Dorks, you couldn’t get to first base with a creaker.
I only don’t hate it when Selena Gomez does it.
Like or dislike seems irrelevant to me, isn’t the bigger question whether this is a first-world problem?
I usually prefer vocal bake, since vocal fry is so fattening.
