Angry Eye

You ever feel like someone takes cheap shots and inadvertently makes personal insults at you?
A lady I don’t know, who’s not an acquaintance, just someone I see every now and then, told me once I have angry eyes. So before that, we did all the small talk, “how are you” shit, and I told her how I had been scratching my eye all day because some dust or shit was in it. Small talk is more awkward than baby talk, just so we’re clear. She looked in my eye, hence, the angry eye. I’d never heard angry eyes before and still don’t know what it means. I’m thinking something to do with like red veiny eyes is angry eyes in cartoons? So I took it personally because before that we had a conversation that upset me. She wasn’t upset so I thought when she saw my eye and said angry eye, she was taking a jab at me. She’s said other things too that make you question its sincerity or underhandedness. So, now I do it back to her. Like once, she asked me how my day was and I said, “do a little dance, make a little a love, get down tonight.” I then explained to her how I said this to a younger person once, emphasis on younger, see she’s alot older, she paused and looked at me weird. Then we chuckled about how it flew over younger persons head, and how like, that phrase has no chance of happening to me. Another time, I asked her why she wasn’t wearing her uniform, her “work clothes,” she looked at me weird then too. I love it. I crack myself up. Know what I’m saying?
