I hate PBS pledge breaks. Does anyone really watch their crappy alternative programming? I hate Suze Orman and her stupid financial advise, I hate 1950’s revival bands, I am sick of Rick Steves visiting European cities. I am really tired of Ken Burns and his boring documentaries. Get real, PBS ask for money during your regular programming, don’t do these breaks.

  1. I complain vigorously about this too IA. My friend told me they are targeting old folks so they will include OPB in their wills, which explains why IT ALL SUCKS SO MUCH. Especially that Roy Orbison bullshit. And they show the same shit during every pledge drive. We suffer. But, I have a Roth IRA now, thanks to that Suz lady. So maybe there is a silver lining…..

  4. I don’t pay a dime to PBS/OPB. But I don’t complain about a close to commercial free station looking for funding with a pledge drive. I just find other entertainment until the regular schedule returns.
