We are over it. Your total fucking lack of ability to follow guidelines put out by state and local officials. Your disgusting panic buying. Your endless unreasonable fucking suggestions on how we should run our business during this insane pandemic. NO, we don’t have any toilet paper. NO, we aren’t going to wear mask and gloves. Those items are needed by healthcare workers. Wash your hands, wear a mask, and your own gloves if you are so concerned. NO, we aren’t going to personal shop for you, even if you try to pay us under the table you rich inner SE fuckheads. Also, social distancing isn’t our job to enforce. We are busy just trying to keep the store stocked and sanitized. You people are home all day? Do you not have access to the same news that we do? Oh, the biggest FUCK YOU to the people coming into our stores every single day to buy a single drink or a piece of chocolate. You are putting us at risk because you don’t know how to shop in bulk? Grow up and take this shit seriously. Sincerely, the very upset crew at NSM.

  2. I honestly can’t imagine how stressful it is. There’s a video of Italian mayors screaming at people who are outside for not being at home like they are supposed to be.

  3. In this time of extreme stress, I’m amazed that employees of grocery stores and pharmacies are not rising up and slaying some of the insane bog weasels they have to deal with.

  6. @8 Our grocery store has senior hours (7am to 9am) and Costco has senior hours (from 7am to 8amm which seems ridiculous, how is a senior supposed to get through Costco in one hour)? No limits on how many people can be in the store at one time that we know of.

    My 70 year old mother is my primary caregiver. She is the one that has to go out into the world and get our food and medications.

    My mother has not gone to the store during the senior hours (and there are health professionals expressing that these senior hours may help seniors from having goods snatched from out of their hands or off the shelves before they get to them, but may not protect them from getting sick).

    All my mom has said is that so far people have been nice and stay away from each other while shopping and they are constantly wiping down and cleaning the checkout lines. There is no toilet paper, though. She has not been to Costco and if she were to drive to Costco she would most likely call first before going just to find out there is no toilet paper there, either. Things may become significantly different if the grocery store is unable to restock supplies as time goes on (we’re on the coast). We will see what happens when my medications are due to be refilled in early April (our pharmacy is not in a grocery store).
