The fact that we are learning about Don Jr’s text messages over a year later via a congressional investigation rather than court filings tells us all we need to know about the state of the FBI and Garland’s DOJ.

For fuck’s sake, if the part-time United States Congress can do your jobs more efficiently and effectively than paid professionals with years of experience and training how do you expect that to reflect on the rule of law.

Let me give you some advice, when you fuck something up at work and then you step-up let your boss (or client) know what happened and how you plan to fix it, you’ll be in a much better position than if you were ignorant of your mistake or tried to pass off a substandard product while collecting a paycheck (or fee). It’s also a lot better than admitting you’ve fucked up after being silent or repeatedly denying it until the evidence is staring you right in the face.

It’s called having some fucking integrity; being honest and upright. Upright as in not shamefully slinking away from difficulty but facing it head on.

P.S. Let’s not set aside Jr’s statements or the Mara largo documents mentioning Portland.

  1. Do you think daylighting sources and methods would speed things up? We could also discuss staffing updates.

If your goal is to maintain some control/influence of the narrative your options are narrowing.

Have you learned anything? Or is it time for more lessons?
