I am angry over drivers turning when pedestrians are crossing the streets including BUSES both school and transit.
I am angry about the hyper -individualism that is happening and my fellow humans are leaning into with their earbuds boundaries, and zombie looking down at their phones even in nature. Scary movies often try and teach viewers the problems of going it alone but sadly are not penetrated once viewers are in the real world again. Ignorance is growing as is knowledge but I fear ignorance feels too good to many people.
I am angry that a racist or more classist woman in the NW by the street car who sells ice cream charged a sharing fee and my loved one with me did not exit from the shop when I put that out there. So I felt trapped. I am angry I did not just throw the ice cream on the floor or at the woman after she fleeced us.
I am about the very high prices on locally sourced food items that are not always organic that no one is boycotting or outwardly displaying anger over allowing more producers to engage in dubious prices where they claim they produce it with love. But what does give me hope about this subject is that a local worker co-op vegan bakery is not engaging in this phukery and their items are delicious. We need more of the cooperative movement in Portland and in the surrounding areas.
I am angry that there are still many politicians representing the public and those who have jobs to protect us are most protective of businesses and thus buildings rather than people or nature
I hope people join me in my anger over these things and that collective action is adopted and co-op growing does indeed happen. I would like to smile again and not just by force.—Anonymous
