Experts on different parts of the state budget currently on the chopping block will go head-to-head in two minute bouts tomorrow night at Backspace, each trying to convince you, the audience, why their special programs and services should stick around for another year. It’s old folks vs. schools! It’s affordable housing vs. public safety! It’s the Oregon State Budget in 2009!
Come to Backspace to lay out your own bracket of what programs you think will make the cut. The audience votes on what chunks of the budget to keep round by round — winning brackets get awesome and fantastic prizes!
