Man, that guy in the suicide chatrooms did some of the most epic trolling ever. While despicable, I also fail to see how in any way his actions can be against the law. It’s like the WBC, I hate what they did; but a system of fair and just laws must allow for speech that we disagree with.

I’m actually far more surprised that Suicide Chat Room Troll actually got caught. I imagine this kind of thing goes on a lot more than people realize. The punishment seems somewhat light, but it does seem like this would be a hard case to prosecute.
My brain has been so thoroughly riddled with pop culture now that when I read the item about nurse talking people into suicide I thought, “Hey, Hannibal Lecter did that!”
