For this week's TBA guide we wanted to make a cover that was actually time-based art. In the visual arts there isn't a more temporary art then graffiti art. Sometimes right after the paint sprays out of the can onto the wall it gets "removed."
So we commissioned local spray paint artist Steve Mathews to paint our cover. While Alin Dragulin was shooting beautiful photos of Mathews painting in his backyard, we decided to light it on fire, too. Why? Because playing with fire is fun!
