Attention to all of the trillions of young, talented, and unemployed designers in PDX: The people who brought us the Cut&Paste design tournament are back with a fresh opportunity/challenge. L.A. non-profit J.U.i.C.E. is looking for someone to revamp their web-site (extra points if you have a graffiti background or bent—their steeze is as an arts program that promotes youth empowerment through the elements of hiphop, including mural-painting in the community). It looks like a cool program, and if your submission is chosen (find the details here), you’ll also win $5,000. They are specifically looking for “a fresh design that maintains the urban aesthetic of the site while contributing to its functionality.” You can do that, right? Piece of cake. Hurry it up, though, the deadline is coming up on May 1st.
